Savioke makes service robots with focused expertise to support humans in getting more done. The first Savioke robot helps hotel staff by delivering small amenities to any room in the hotel.
Function Engineering provided mechanical engineering for Savioke’s robotic base and cargo bin. The base allows the robot to stably navigate hallways and traverse elevator thresholds, and includes an omni-directional bumper to ensure safety. The top-mounted bin carries up to 10 pounds, and its hinged lid opens to reveal the cargo when the guest responds to the delivery.
