More and more computer users want to be able to scan documents, but few are willing to sacrifice the desk space needed for a traditional flatbed scanner.
Function Engineering designed an innovative sheet-fed scanner that supports high resolutions scans, multiple sizes and thickness of paper, and virtually automatic operation. The user inserts a sheet to initiate the software operation. Function developed the product design, case design, paper handling mechanism and the drive train design - all in a minimal package with precise optical accuracy.
